I am not in neurobiology but I think that this processing can be very complex. The obvious examples are the processing of inputs from the environment. We only think consciously of the important details but the brain is somehow filtering out the rest by processing. On top of this I think there is also some problem solving going on. It has happened to me many times to have those ah moments when a solution pops up almost out of nowhere after not thinking about the problem for a while.<BR/>I don't know why our conscious though is not able to multiprocess, maybe it has something to do with establishing the unique sense of self, but the brain is surely capable of multitasking.Pedro Beltraohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12177733941831975048noreply@blogger.com
